It is said that Maiden Astraea discovered the truth about God’s existence - or lack thereof - and thus explains why she accepted the Soul of a Demon in order to ease the troubled abandoned.
Rusty and I worked on this exhaustive metal cover of Maiden Astraea's theme from the "Demon's Souls" game. This song was part of GameGroove's "Archstones: A Metal Tribute to Demon's Souls" -- which we were very excited to contribute to!
Be sure to find the entire album and all of the wonderful arrangements

This song marks another milestone in mine/our mixing/audio production journey that I'm particularly proud of, and even more proud to work with a lot of close friends (and some die-hard fans of the Souls' series) on this one song. We hope we did it justice and we hope you like it! If you like the tone you hear, feel free to e-mail me at markovsoroka[at]gmail.com for any audio engineering purposes. Thanks!

PS: Next album I'm releasing will have physical copies and for a project starting with "D" -- in case you're not interested in these covers because you are some kind of monster who doesn't like vidyagames

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10 RJ
